A reduction in the quantity of dog droppings today, although the quality (I shall not define terms of reference out of courtesy for the delicate reader) was higher. A particularly fine qualitative example on impeccable display, walking up the street, had shared itself with a series of shoes when we were walking down the street. So much for quantitative restraint on qualitative action.
This morning: a call to Captain Eno re: F&E III. A recent e-mail to Brian had been spam-filtered: he eventually retrieved it sandwiched between a pair of invitations to enlarge his girth. Half my own first mailbox of this morning offered me the same opportunity.
